Stirring Li Chao, though not its primary theme, is steeped in the consequences of political corruption and populist rebellions.
Propaganda, misinformation, and political spin by powerful elite create divisions and hostility among citizens. It's fair to assume we sometimes know less than what we think we know. It may be well to consider the words of an ancient Chinese philosopher, Chuang Tzu (Zhuang Zhou, often known as Zhuangzi--(370 BC-287 BC):
                   Words that are argumentative do not reach the point
