STIRRING LI CHAO

The visual journey you are about to take does not require music, but the experience might be enhanced . . . your choice.

Li Chao's journey begins in the Northwestern Province of Manchuria. His destination is the Sze Yap region surrounding the port city of Canton (most all immigrants to America begin here). He travels by foot, apple cart, small sailboat, and ocean-faring junk in an epic attempt to eventually reach America ("Gold Mountain").
